For those who are NOT using a rubric or establishing a litmus for the outcome of using this strategy, would you please offer your feedback on this narrow issue. I have excluded the use of the aforementioned with successful results; However, I will use both prior to undertaking a future project initiated by "brainstorming" if only for the sake of curiosity. Feedback on this narrow issue is welcomed.

I definitely do not use a rubric or establish limits on brainstorming. I think that brainstorming is supposed to be a "free for all" in terms of coming up with ideas. In our highly structured educational curriculums, I think that an easy five points for creative brainstorming should be encouraged. As educators, we really need to stop overthinking some things...
