Yes, this was devastating to say the least. Polly Boudreaux (an ex-teacher from my old school St. Bernard High-->then worked for the parish government, but is now back teaching again) is spear heading the reconstruction. Many of my 11th & 12th grade students are interested in participating in the rebuilding - which makes me so proud. I will be out there with them. The new architecture design is very nice. It will even be better than before!!!! I hope the teenager that did this devastation is part of the rebuilding effort.

Cecile, how soon will this park be available to many of the residents in St. Bernard? It will be great to see the rebuilding effort by so many. This city is rebuilding better than ever by so many great volunteers.
