Engineers have chosen what they believe is the top design challenges facing the world. The website provides a lot of interesting information as well as a video. It has several places for citizens' inputs. http://www.engineeringchallenges.org/

This webiste is amazing! I was very surprised to see the ranking to Babs. I will share this with my class as well. It gives some great new ideas and challenges for those students who are up to being challenged.

This website is great! My school has been pushing green technology and its benefits and this website gave some great information about how preserving what is so important. I will definitely be coming back to this site to get more information on other design challenges.

Hi Thema, I used this site again - Love, Love, Love it!!!! We completed our 2nd plant investigation lesson (we have 4 X 4 block and it is the second term with new students) that I had posted as a lesson; and we went to the "Manage the nitrogen cycle" and they loved it!!!! This is a very veritile site. Thanks.

This was a great website. I was alot more aware of some of the problems after SDI last summer. I was surprised by some of the rankings, but it certainly shows how varied the engineering needs our of our world. Althought I can't use this website as is with my students, I certainly can find a way to incorporate some of the information into lessons. Thanks for sharing!
